United Methodist Elder Care is proud to announce the appointment of Sandra Cullen by Governor Lincoln D. Chafee to serve on the Rhode Island Housing Resources Commission. Sandra will be serving as Senior Housing Advocate lending her 18+ years of knowledge gained from her experience as Administrator at Winslow Gardens assisting seniors with affordable housing.
The Rhode Island Housing Resources Commission has 27 members representing the full spectrum of Rhode Island populations who come together to form policies, standards and programs regarding housing issues. The mission of the Housing Resources Commission is to ensure that all Rhode Islanders have access to safe and affordable housing.
Sandra has also been involved with Leading Age for the past ten years and has served as Leading Ages Vice President for the past year and half. Leading Age is a charitable organization focused on education, advocacy, and applied research with a nonprofit and corporation membership base who work to improve life for seniors.
United Methodist Eldercare offers affordable senior housing in Rhode Island and Winslow Gardens is the independent and assisted living apartments located in East Providence. A native Rhode Islander, Sandra raised her two children in Cranston and presently resides there with her husband and dog.
