Twelve residents traveled to Lancaster, Pennsylvania May 7th through the 9th 2014 to tour Amish Country and enjoy local theater, dining and shopping. They attended three musical shows including “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, “Moses” at the Sight and Sound Theatre, and a medley of Andrew Lloyd Webber songs performed by the talented singers at the American Music Theater.

Residents dined at the largest buffet they ever saw at the Shady Maple Smorgasbord and afterwards enjoyed shopping at the Shady Maple Gift Shop. They climbed aboard the Hershey Trolley and toured the town where six million pounds of chocolate are produced a day, and learned about the fascinating history of Hershey and its founder, Milton Hershey. Everyone had a great time and are already talking about next year’s trip!
